Research and Videos At Your Fingertips

Throughout its 50+ year history, GBTA has been at the forefront of bringing to light key trends and topics shaping the industry, enabling business travel professionals to access timely context, validate their thinking, and confidently move ahead.

The Anatomy of Research Projects

GBTA partners with other organizations and companies to produce two different types of research projects. Large-scale and small-scale projects may vary in scope, but they are invaluable and substantial for GBTA members as exclusives. That’s the power of GBTA Research today.

Large-Scale Projects

These large-scale projects are vital for member usage and are often launched during our flagship events. They are full in-depth reports and conducted entirely in-house. Examples are our annual launched Global Business Travel Index™ Outlook (BTI) or Global Business Travel Forecast. By partnering with others, we ensure that education sessions are held to review key findings and make use of the findings in a digestible manner.

Small-Scale Projects

Though smaller in scale still significant, these smaller survey-based projects bring much value to members around the globe. As our industry evolves, members are pressured to evolve as the landscape changes. Our small-scale projects are typically released multiple times throughout the year, with information that can assist in decision-making and impact short-term decision making.
